I found this beautiful plate on one of the first trips I made to Goodwill. It is on the OTHER side of town, so I stopped by when I was in the area….which isn’t often. As soon as I spotted it, I knew it would be perfect for my project!!!It was 25 cents…I think. I got it this summer and it’s been sitting in a cupboard just waiting for me to get going on it.
I started by printing out a ‘W’ in 150 font on my computer. I took a pencil and first sketched the ‘W’ on my plate and then traced it with a Sharpie.
I think it turned out pretty darn cute. If I can do this, anyone can!!!
See…here’s the ‘W’ in a frame I’ve had sitting in a drawer for years.
PS: A Goodwill just opened up in a strip mall right on my way to work. YEAH!!!
